What’s stopping you from living the life of your dreams? Is it lack of money, education, or confidence? Or is it lack of time? If you had all the time in the world, then think what you could achieve!

How Is Your Time Spent?

Most of us have a very similar amount of time on this earth, and yet we spend it very differently. Some of us achieve amazing things; but most of us plod along with our lives, not reaching great heights, but not plumbing the depths either. What separates the high achievers from the average achievers?

What Is The Secret To Success?

I believe that clutter has a part to play in the mystery as to why two people, with theoretically the same amount of time, achieve such different results. The secret is how we spend our time.

Use Time Wisely

The high achievers spend their time wisely in listening, learning, reading and doing the things that will bring them success. Whilst the rest of us go about our routines; watching TV, going to the pub, each day much like the next; and at the end of our lives we wonder where our time went.

The high achievers don’t waste time, they can’t afford to. They know how precious time is, and they know how much they want to get done. They don’t let clutter slow them down, because they don’t want to slow down.

Clutter Slows You Down

High achievers understand that they need to hit the ground running. They don’t waste time clearing space for activities, or looking for information or equipment. Without clutter to distract them they can operate a smooth, efficient, focused operation, that sees them achieve more in a day then most of us do in a week.

Benjamin Franklin stated “You will find the key to success under the alarm clock.” Well, that’s not going to work if your alarm clock is buried under all your junk and you can’t find it!

There Are Only So Many Tomorrows

You don’t want to look back at your life and realise that you wasted it. If you want more time to achieve goals at work, spend with your children, to study, to read, to learn a new sport, or to make new friends; then don’t let clutter waste your time. As Michael Landon said “Whatever you want to do, do it now. There are only so many tomorrows.”
